Our Story
Ironcutter Media was started in 2004
by Alivia Tagliaferri, an author and documentary filmmaker, as a boutique press
that specialized in blending socially-conscious themes with traditional and new
media technologies. The company was a platform for artists who are passionate
about telling stories that connect us all.
From the very beginning we published
titles that raised awareness about important issues and fostered discussion. Over the years, we’ve a recognized there is a great need for authors who want the quality of their original work to be reflected in the finished product. And although we’ve expanded our services and capabilities to assist more authors, we’re still committed to our original mission and more.
Toward that goal, we’ve created a number of signature services including a groundbreaking technology for authors who want to create a personal experience with their readers in the digital world.
