In addition, we offer corporate writing, copy-editing and consultative services.
Ironcutter Media was founded in 2006 by Alivia C. Tagliaferri, author of Still the Monkey, What Happens to Warriors after War. Alivia is a writer, composer and producer, whose recent work, an article entitled “What Every Veteran’s Family and Friend Need to Know about Post-Traumatic Stress and PTSD” was recently published in the July 2007 issue of The Veteran’s Voice. Alivia currently travels the Mid-Atlantic region facilitating discussions on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) with Still the Monkey as the vehicle to raise awareness and help military families, friends of veterans, and future healthcare providers better understand how veterans may change physically, mentally, and spiritually after the traumatic experience of war and how to strategically cope with these changes. She is also passionate about inpsiring our next generation of creative artists, presenting the "How to Market Your Ideas and Creativity" workshop to high-school students.
This fall and winter, Ironcutter Media is gearing up to produce, publish, and distribute a series of children’s books, written by the talented author and illustrator Mrs. Pea, aka Kathleen Parrish. Looking forward to 2008, Ironcutter Media will continue to expand its product line by publishing its second book, a gripping memoir written by Ms. Parrish on the subject of post-partum depression, in addition to a series of children’s audio and digital books, and theme music recordings.
Ironcutter Media believes in creating, publishing, and distributing “media that matters.” As such, our “Media that Matters" Programs are designed to significantly impact the society we live in, raise awareness on topics that we feel passionate about, promote artistic expression, provide inspiration, and benefit the world we live in.
